Abstract
Breast feeding is the
normal ways of providing young infants with the nutrients they need for healthy
growth and development. Virtually all mothers can breastfeed, provided they
have accurate information and the support of their family, the health care system
and the society at large. Breast milk contains antibodies that help the baby
fight off viruses and bacteria. Breastfeeding lowers the baby’s risk of having
asthma or allargies breastfeeding promotes a healthy weight, it also it also
makes the uterus to contrast. Breast milk is rich in nutrients and anti-bodies
and contains the right quantities of fact, sugar water and protein. EBF is
healthy and cost effective methods of feeding, though there is high prevalence
of breast feeding, breastfeeding practices are still suboptimal in this region
despite evidence of numerous benefits to both mother and child.
