INTRODUCTION
Historically, organizational behaviour
could be traced back to 1930 when notable changes occur in management’s
perception of the relationship between individuals and the workplace (John and
Saks, 2017). At this time, s series of classic research studies led to the
emergence of organizational behaviour as a field of study. The success of every organization
depends upon the efficiency and effectiveness of the management and the
effectiveness of the management depends primarily on its human skills and how
well it understands the needs and desires of the people (Kreitner and Kinicki,
2013). Organizational behaviour actually refers to the behaviour of the people
in the organizations because organizations themselves do not behave. It is an
accepted fact that an organization can develop only when its people are
developed.
