INTRODUCTION
The first formulation of a code of ethics was adopted by the
members of Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) now American Institute
for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Work (AIC) committee on professional
standards and procedures formed at the second regular meeting in Detroit May 23
1961. In 1967, the ethics and standards committee was charged with updating
documents to reflect changes in the business profession.
