ABSTRACT
The
project works on “THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
WOODEN WARDROBE†give an insight on the details of wood, the materials
used, the methodology and the process involved in the completion of the project
works.
The first chapter gives an insight on the introduction,
aim/objectives, justification scope and the limitations in the construction of
the wooden wardrobe.
The
second chapter gives detail on the literature review, details on wood,
classification of wood, wood degradation, water content, history of wood, the
uses of wood, wood as a construction material, and its engineering importance.
The third chapter show the materials used, the assembling of
materials, the joining method, and the preparation of wood used.
The fourth chapter shows the
data presentation, discussion of the result, the isometric view of the
wardrobe, and the safety measures undertaken when carrying out the construction
work.
Finally, the project work end with the final conclusion on the
object of the construction and also provides a recommendation on how to handle
the materials and the wood used in achieving a good and effective result.
